Oscars with Johnny Depp

We are major fans of Captain Jack Sparrow, Edward Scissorhands, Don Juan, Mr Willy Wonka etc so we had fun painting him ^_^ The lady should be over the moon for this watercolor caricature!!!

Sid has bagged his Birdie

I think the title was well-conceived. It was our pleasure to paint this watercolor caricature for them ^_^

Scooby Doo

They wanted a Scooby Doo theme. Their small dog became Scooby. From left to right are Daphne, Shaggy, Wilma, and Fred. We had to change the body of Daphne a bit though. At the back is their chosen monster. A flower monster. Scary huh? ^_^

I think Elvis' resemblance is slightly off. Hope the gentleman likes this watercolor caricature still ^_^

The challenge while painting this caricature lies in showing his number at the back of his shirt as required by the client. After some serious brain pounding, we spent some time adding a replay screen for the stadium to show the man's back. ^_^

This order came from Hong Kong I think. The banner says "We love because we are loved" in Chinese (a verse from the bible?)
