Splashing around

This painting is one of the hardest we had to do. The photo was not very good and the couple was squinting because of the light and water. Thankfully the client was still happy with the result.

Hawaii

Looks a little like a scene from Survivor.

Golf Novice

Ouch! Hope the boy likes this ^_^

Sloshed!

The strange things we see when we have a pint too many.

SHREK 4

A fine and personal gift for the girl in the picture. Notice the words ^_^

Taj Mahal

Quoting from Wikipedia: The Taj Mahal (Devanagari: ताज महल, Nastaliq: تاج محل) is a mausoleum located in Agra, India. The Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan commissioned it as a mausoleum for his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal in memory of her.

Cowboy!

Looking back, we should have painted a cigarette into the corner of his mouth for added effect.

Plumbler

A plumber on an assignment. I wonder if the floods are affecting his job?

Brothers

2 boys and their favorite toy cars and trains.

Soccer Fan

Not really sure what club the kit belongs to. That doesn't stop us from painting it ^_^

Under the Stars

I think this is the 4th time we are painting this scene. It is extremely popular.

The Office

Hope this is hanging on their office walls by now. These sort of office paintings are the best retirement presents.

Wedding Day

This was done for one of our previous clients who had been very kind with us. Here's wishing them a wonderful life ahead ^_^

Granddad

A customer asked us once if we retouched the artwork scans before we post them on the blog. If only we could afford the time, if only we could afford the time. . .

Starry Night Again

The scanner has a little smudge on the right side. How come I didn't notice that earlier?

Man & his Fav Car

The scanner is a bit bright so you can't see all the details of this car on the artwork painting.

Jet Skiing

You saw him diving in a previous post. He's back again skiing along the waters. A water sport person really.

Guitarist

Yet another painting we did for a man and his guitar Resemblance is almost perfect for this artwork.

Al Pacino Portrait

Here we have the Godfather! This was ordered by a fan.

Beating the lights

"Beating the lights"... literally...

Stone Age

Sure beats clubbing the girl on the head and dragging her into a cave ^_^

Double Bass

A present for a friend who is in a certain orchestra.

Looney Tommy

A client wanted this as a present for his brother. Their last names are Warner, hence the theme.

Little Girl Skiing

Recently we were told by a client that when she gave an artwork we did to her friend, her friend was so touched that she cried. It was a painting of her late grandmother. It is encouraging words that these that make us proud of what we do.

Whose line is it anyway?

Most should be familiar with Drew Carey's famous GameShow-medy. The client has a similar game for the event she is hosting. She is printing this out large and hanging it for the event.

Mr Muscles

The real reason why most men visit the gym. This is mean to be a joke/present for the client.

Wimbledon

Aspiring tennis star practising his moves. A fun painting birthday gift for the client's husband.

Ski Vacation

Ski Vacation in the summer? I wonder what mountains you have to go to, to find snow like this. Anyway, we like the bluish hue we dabbed around the picture with our paint brush.

Kill BILL

Inspired by the movie, we painted this in 2 days. It hangs on our Studio walls now .

Karate Newton

One of our more funny paintings. Discovering gravity the hard way. That must be painful.

KING KONG!

The client told us we could use her photos on our blog. (Thanks Jill!) Hope the client's better half likes the painting too. For those whose have yet seen the movie. GO GET THE DVD. It is fantastic!

PhD Ladies

Can you sense the brain power in this picture?? 3 ladies receiving their PhD scroll from their professor. Congratulations to them. Left lots of white space for signing and write short farewell messages.

Blackhawk Down

This caricature cartoon was done for a client as a present for her better half serving in Afghan. The photo we were told to draw from was extremely blurry. Thank goofness (no we did not spell wrongly), she loved it. However, it took almost a month for the painting to reach into the US afghan camp. Can't blame them for being careful with the security checks.

Batman & Catwoman

We are getting quite some requests from clients to put them in special costumes. And it is not even Halloween yet. Example, Zorro, Elf princess, Charlie's angels, etc. There are much more. We post some more up over the next few days. The funny thing is that 1 customer ordered some Xmas themed caricature paintings 2 days ago. Talk about avoiding the Xmas crowd ^_^

Elven Princess

Customer wanted to be like Arwen Evenstar, the elven princess in Lord of the Rings. Hope she likes it ^_^
